About Us

In 1934, twelve visionary paper mill owners joined forces to create the Wisconsin Paper Group. Their goal? To combine their smaller orders into a powerhouse that could deliver better pricing and enhanced service across the country. Recognizing the significance of this collaboration, the state of Wisconsin granted us Not-for-Profit status in December 1974.

As the paper industry evolved, so did we.

No longer just about paper, we’ve expanded into machinery, raw materials, packaging, converting, and finished goods. Our recent Board decision to open our unique service model to all manufacturers in Wisconsin and the U.P. of Michigan, along with regional 3PL and LSP entities, marks a new chapter in our growth.
